Character: Build It Here
More Time than Money
The Wall Street Journal ran an article some years back on a survey among graduates of the top universities in America. One question was asked, “What is the one gift that you wanted from your father that you never got?”
The majority of respondents gave basically the same reply, “Time with my father. All I ever wanted was his time. I didn’t need all those expensive toys, luxury vacations and fancy cars. I wanted his time.”
Time with your mother is a given. Time with your father is a gift.
On Fathers’ Day, spend some time together. Time is a gift that’s meant to be shared and a gift that money can’t buy.
